COUNCIL RESOLUTION - GENERAL FORM

WHEREAS, THE COMMISSIONER of Libraries, Auditorium, Museums and Stadia has reported in
accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during
the period from September 4th through October 1, 1960 which rendered necessary the
employment of certain employees of the Department of- Libraries, .Auditorium, Museums and
Stadia, Bureau of Auditorium, for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week
in doing the following works
Operate ventilating systems, PBX switchboard and supervise work during
various events held in building including road shows, truck roadeo, etc.
and WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances:
No other trained help available to work during above attractions held in
the Auditorium, this time includes Saturdays and Sundays.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the proper City Officers are hereby authorized to pay
the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the
Council's Salary Ordinance No. 6446.
