`INTERMEDIARY ORDER
In the Matter of improving ONTO AVENUE from West Seventh Street to Shepard Road
by regrading, curbingland paving with 8" one course concrete pavement; grading and
paving street, alley and driveway returns; grading and sodding boulevard and slope
areas; reconstructing sidewalks, curbs and paving on intersecting streets where not
in conformity with said improvement; installing conduits and appurtenances for future
lighting and traffic control systems where necessary and doing all other work which
is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order 196703 Approved April 13, 1960
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with. 4
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is to improve OTTO AVENUE
from West Seventh Street to,Shepard Road by regrading, curbing -and paving with 8" one
course concrete pavement; grading and paving street, alley and driveway,returns;.gracling
And sodding boulevard and slope areas; reconstructing sidewalks, curbs and paving on
intersecting streets where not inconformity with said improvement.; installing?eondtiiits
and appurtenances for future lighting and traffic control systems where necessary and
doing all-other work which is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 131-0527,00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 25th day of
October ,,,960 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
