Dillon, mayor — Resolved, By the Council of the Citv of Saint Paul that as determined RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul that as determined by the Housing-and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota,,by its pertinent Resolution No. 60 -319 dated April 14, 19609 it has become and is necessary to the proper and successful conduct and completion of the Western Redevelopment Project UR Minn. 1 -2 to file an application for amendatory loan and grant for said Project Area to revise the previously approved appli- cation dated October 2, 1957, for the purpose of revision of temporary loan and revision in the.project capital grant Loan and Grant Contract No. LG -2, dated March 2, 1953, between the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota, and the United States of America acting by and through its Housing and Home Finance Agency so that the same be amended to embody an increase in the project temporary loan under said Contract from $3,962,860.00 to the total maximum amount of $4,179,212.00, and for a.decrease in the project capital grant under said Contract as amended from $2,300,303.00 to the total maximum amount of $2,235,485.00, being the maximum amount available under Title I of the Federal Housing Act of 1949, as amended, prior to August 2, 1954, and RESOLVED FURTHER, that said Council hereby approves the appli- cation of the said Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota, addressed to the Housing and Home Finance Agency and the filing of the same with the latter, for said changes in amendment to said Loan and Grant Contract, the granting of said application by said Housing and Home Finance Agency and the approval by said Federal. Application of Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota for Amendatory Loan and Grant - 'Western Redevelopment Project UR Minn. 1 -2. On April 14, 1960 the Housing and Redevelopment Authority adopted its Resolution No. 60 -31 authorizing the filing of an application for amendatory loan and grant for the Western Redevelopment Project UR Minn. 1 -2. A copy of said resolution is herewith enclosed together with a copy of Resolution No. 60 -32 of the commissioners directing that the Authority forthwith submit a re- quest to the City of Saint Paul for approval by resolution to the filing of said application for amendatory loan and grant for said Project Area. The application requests the Urban Renewal Agency of the Housing and Home Finance Agency to approve increase in the budget temporary loan under the existing Loan and Grant Contract from $3,962,860.00 to $4,179,212.00 and de- crease the amount of project capital grant under said Contract from $2,300,303.00 to $2,235,485.00. The Federal regulations require that application for amenda- tory loan and grant be filed in connection with said budgetary changes for said Project Area.
