In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk at the Jefferson School on the south
side of Harrison Ave. from Garfield St. to Western Ave. and on the east side of
Western Ave. from Sturgis St. to Haacrison Ave. to include all incidental work on
the school property �

The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above impronement, and having conaidered said reporrt, hereby resolnes:
1. That the sa.id report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the sa,id improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with. �
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is to reconstruct the

sidewalk. at the Jefferson School an �he south side of Harxison Ave. �rom Garfield St.
to ti�Testern Ave. and on the east side of Western Ave. from Sturgis St. to H�axrison Ave.
to include all incidental wor� on the school property, except where good and suffica.ent
sidewalks naw ex3st .
, with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ •52 per s4. ft. for l��� mono:conc.walk.

Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 28th day of
November. 1961 , at the hour of 10 dclock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of �nance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hea,ring, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
