The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said repart, hereby resolvea:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with. '
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is to reconstruct the
sidewalk at the Ramsey School on the south side of Summit gve. fram Cambri.dge St. to
Wheeler St.; on the west side of Cambridge St. �rom Summ�.t Ave. to Grand Ave.; on the
north side of Grand Ave: from Ca.mbridge St. to Whesler St. to include all in,cidental
work on the school property, �xcept where good and sufficient sidewalks now exist
�th no alternatives and that the estimated cost thereof is $ •52 Per sq. ft. for �.�� mono.conc.walk.
Excavation, fi�l, conc. rem�d., root cutting, drive crossings, etc. at extra cost.)
Resolved Further, That a public heaxing be had on said improvement on the 28th day of
� November, 1961 , at the hour of 10 dclock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
sa.id meeting to the persona and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the tota.l cost thereof as estimated.
