WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and
Public Buildings has reported, in accordance
wa.th Section 53 of the City Charter, the exa.stence
of an emergency during the period from October
16 to 31, 1961, which rendered necessary the
employment of certain employees of the Department
of Paf�ks and Recreation and PubLic Buildings for
more than eight hours per day or forty hours .per
week in doing the following work;
E�nergency building inspection on
Sunday.
Arxl WHEREAS� This emergency arose by reason of t,he
follow9.ng facts and circumstances;
Fire Department required inspection
of premises after a fire.
TI�REF�tE, BE IT RFSOLVED, That the praper city officers
are hereby authorized to pay the employees who per-
� formed such work in accordance with �hel provisions
of the Council�s salary ordinance, Ordinance No.
61�l�6.
