R'ESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves �the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the City of
� rail delinery,
St. Paul Water Department f.o.b. Filtration' Plant,/Soo Line Siding, St. Paul� Minnesota,
approximately 4000 tons Burned Lime (Calcitun Oxide) , to CUTLER-MAGNER CO�I�ANY in
� accor�ance with City specifications and the Formal Bid #8536 of said �utler-b4agner
Company at a price of $14.85 per net ton, making amount of contract approximately
$59,400.00,(con�ract to run for period of six months from and after date of City
�Comptroller•s countersignature on contract) , such bid being the lowest and said
Cutler-Magner Company being a reasonable and r eliable bidder, and the Corporation
Counsel be and herebq is directed to draw up the proper� form of contract therefor,
and the proper City officials herebq are authorized� to execute�'said contract� on • - - , _
