Council / City of St. Paul Dear Council Members : � A statement of expense has been filed with the City Clerk on this date for the purpose of creating a lien on the property known as 1934 East Orange Avenue, described as Lot 7, Block 2, Hazel Park -Division No. 8, St. Paul, Minnesota This property is owned by: Christine M. Mangan, 1934 East Orange Avenue, St. Paul 19, record owner; Cornelius Tracy, 2064 James Avenue, St. Paul 5, contract purchaser; and copy of proceedings was mailed to J. Koller, 2064 James Avenue, St. Paul 5. In this matter the following resolutions were adopted by the City Council : C. F. 198466, adopted by the Council August 12, 196:0 (published August 20, 1960) set ..a public hear�ng at 10 A. M. September 6, 1960. C. F. 198866, adopted by the Council September 13, 1960 (published September 17, 1960) , ordered the wrecking by and at the separate cost and expense of the owne�r, occupant, or other person in control thereof. C. F. 199536, adopted by the Council November 3, 1960 (published November 5, 1960) , directed the Commissioner of Parks And Recreation And Public Buildings to enter the premises and wreck and remove the dwelling and do any and all things therein necessary for the � protection of life, limb, and adjoining property. C. F. 203598, adopted by the Council August 22, 1961 (published August 26, 1961, provided that the wrecking expense of $365.00 and expense of the Daprtment of Parks And Recreation And Public Buildings in connection with the condemnation in the amount of $68.42, making a total of $433.42, be paid out of Wrecking Con- derrined Buildings, 31 G 22, and, in the event said sum proves col lectible from the owner, same is to be credited to 31 G 22. � ' • • . , . , ., . _ , #2 The building has now been satisfactorily wrecked and a regis- tered bill mailed to the owners. We are requesting that you hold a public hearing with ten days ' notice to consider any complaints about the expenses incurred � and to conf,�rm the amount. The Council resolution confirming the expense should end with a directive to the City Clerk to file a statement of expense for the purpose of securing a lien on the property.
