• RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for the Grading of Manton Street from Idaho
Avenue to Larpenteur Avenue; Idaho Avenue from Hazelwood Street to Birmingham Street
(except work to be done by City Forces) to CARL BOLANDER & SONS COMPANY in accordance
with City plans and specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid �8479
of said Carl Bolander & Sons Company for the contract price of $8,900.00, plus $712.00
Engineering and plus $178.00 Inspection by City Forces, such bid being the lowest and
said Carl Bolander & Sons Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the
Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to 'draw up the proper form of contract
therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said
contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
