The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolvea: .
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is to recAnetrnet the
sialewalk on the east,aid�e o� Arundel 3t. Frc�am Charles �t. north to the alley a.nd on
Charlas Ave, fro� Arundsl 3t. east approximately �0 ft. abutti.ng the property l�cr�a
as 554 �r�mc�e� st.� except Where good and snfficient aide�ralks nw ezi�t
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ -52 Fer s:. ft, for 4" m�m.co�nc.�lk.

Resolved Further, That a public heaxing be had on said improvement on thP 3� day of
Octob�r, 1961 , at the hour of 10 dclock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commisaioner of Finance give notice of
' sa.id meeting to the persona and in the manner provided by the Charter, sta.ting the time and place of
hea,ring, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
