obtained on the Westerly 4' of Lot 5, Block 14, Syndicate No. 5 from Lafond Ave. to
the alley in the rear of said lot, except the areas therein oGcupied by buildings,
under Preliminary Order 20��$$ , approved Apr i 1 25, 1961

A public hearing�aving been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council having
heard all pereons, objections and recommendatione relative thereto, and having fully coneidered the eame;
therefore, be it
RFSOLVED, By the Council of the City of 8aint Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im- -
provement to be made by the eaid City ie
' condemning a�d taking an easement in the land necessary for slopes, cuts
and fills, including the right of removal of lateral support from subject land or
remainder thereof occasioned by excavations thereof or construction of slopes in
, grading and surfacing with bituminous material the alley in Block 14, Syndicate No. 5
from Hamliae Ave. to Albert Ave. ;

and the Council hereby orders eaid improvements to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the following land, lands or easements therein be and the eame are -
hereby ordered to be taken, appropriated and condemned for the purpose of maldng eaid improvemente, vis.: •
• For slopes, cuts and fills, including the right of removal of lateral support
from subject, land or remainder thereof occasioned by excavations thereof or construc-
tion of slopes in grading and surfacing with bituminous material the alley in Block 14,
Syndicate No. 5 from Hamline Ave. to Albert Ave. ;
RESO VED FURTHER, That the Commiseioner of Public Works be and ie hereby instructed and �
directed to prepare plans a,nd epecifications for said improvement, and the proper city officiale are hereby
authori�ed and directed to proceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.
