RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the
Department of Public Works, Bureau of Municipal Equipment, 891 North Dale Street,
St. Paul, Minnesota, Two PM- Speedall Model 240A Gas,Rubber tired Front End Loaders
to PETTIBONE MINNESOTA CORPORATION in accordance with City specifications therefor
hereto attached and the Formal Bid #8591-of said Pettibone Minnesota Corporation,
at a cost of $2,9.;674.00 less allowance of $6,775.00 for 1953 model HRG Hough front
end loader, serial 42884, City No. 401 to be taken in trade, making net amount of
contract $22,899.00, such bid being the lowest and said Pettibone Minnesota
Corporation being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be
and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the
proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of
