Smith Tire And Battery Company through the Minnesota Fence And Iron Works has been referred to this office for investi- gation and report. Our inspector reports this will be at approximately 1025 Thomas Avenue, seven feet high of chain link fencing with fabric to be six feet high, and with three strands of barbed wire extending inward toward the property at 450 angle and extending upward one foot in height, making the overall height of the fence seven feet. All material will be galvanized construction and all parts will be made of stee . This property is adjacent to a large metal warehouse and lot has been used for the storage of tires and fence materi- als. I Fence will enable the owner to maintain better control of the yard area and there should be no objections. It is our recom- mendation that the Building Bureau be authorized to issue permit. Wepropose to put this fence back approximately 20 feet from the sidewalk which is on a line with the building already there. We intend to use the lots primarily for the storage of trucks and other equipment. This property is now zones light industrial.
