Dear Council Members:
A request for permission to erect a fence by W. F. Smith
Tire And Battery Company through the Minnesota Fence And
Iron Works has been referred to this office for investi-
gation and report.
Our inspector reports this will be at approximately 1025
Thomas Avenue, seven feet high of chain link fencing with
fabric to be six feet high, and with three strands of barbed
wire extending inward toward the property at 450 angle and
extending upward one foot in height, making the overall
height of the fence seven feet. All material will be
galvanized construction and all parts will be made of stee .
This property is adjacent to a large metal warehouse and
lot has been used for the storage of tires and fence materi-
als. I
Fence will enable the owner to maintain better control of the
yard area and there should be no objections. It is our recom-
mendation that the Building Bureau be authorized to issue
permit.
