WHEREAS, because of the recent resignation of ,
Daniel G. Jacobowaki as Executive Secretary of the Fair
� Employment Practice Commission, it has become necessary
to secure a new Executive Secretary for said Commission; and
�� WHEREAS, the Fair Employment Practice Commission
after inviting applicants and interviewing a number of
persons interested in said posit3.on has selected and
recoinmended the appointment of Mr. Seth R. Phillips to be
� Executive Secretary;• now, therefore, be i�
� RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul
hereby appoints, ratifiea and conaents to the appointment of
Seth R. Phillips as Fxecutive Secretary of the Fair Employment
� Practiee Commission, effective November 16, 1961.
