Miels. employees of the Department of Public Safety, � Bureau of Police, were in�ured in a third party accident when , the squad car in which they were riding was struck by an auto- ` mobile driven by Larry C. Engel and owned by Fred C. Engel; and � WHEREAS as to th n' _ e , e i �ury of its employee George B. Trimmer, the City has paid salary in the amount of $34.01 � for time lost from work on account of said injury, and has � expended the sum o� $17.25 in medical expense for him, and its squad car was damaged to the extent of $148.73, as shown by Registered Bill No:3=2808; and � WHEREAS, a settlement has been arrived at whereby the City is offered the sum of $150.00 for damage to its vehicle � and for its medical and salary expense as to the injury of f George B. Trimmer, and the City reserves its rights of subro- � gation in the matter of the claim of Earl E. Miels against ' said Fred C. Engel and Larry C.
