� Section 5, has reported to the Council its findings and recommenda-
; tions in a letter dated July 31, 1961, and

• � WHEREAS, the Council has made a study of said report and rec-
? ommendations of the �ar Allowance Committee, therefore be it

� RESOLVED by the Council of the City of St. Paul that the em�
ployees listed below shall be entitled to and receive mileage
; allowances provided for in Ordinance No. 11542 subject to the

The Mileage Committee met in my office on Friday morning,
��r July 28, 1961 and disposed of the following matters :
� - DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIG S�SFETY:
j; Request was received from Commissioner Robert F. Peterson,
' for B type car allowance for Anthony Tighe, starting August
� 1, 1961. The committee f�vors granting of this request and
� so recommends to the Cour�"cil. Maximum to be $50.00 per month.

�� DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
�! A request was received from John J. Eichinger, countersigned
�� by Commissioner Milton Rosen:
E To ��duce the "C" mileage plan from $75.00 to $60.00 for Mr.
� Kent Schonberger, Maintenance Engineer, effective July 1,
i' 1961. The'ICommittee recommends granting this request.
�� To chan e C milea e maximum from $70 to $75
3! 9 g per month, ef-
fective July 1; 1961 for Mr. A1].en J. Fish, Jr. Public Works
3t Technician, as Mr. Fish' s driving record proves he drives
�; more than was anticipated. The Committee is favorable to
�° this change.

j` To change from "•B" to "C" mileage plans with maximum of $75
16 per month for Fred T. Rabens, Assistant Public Works Techni-
� cian, eff ective July l, 1961. Mr. Rabens ' duties have been
expanded and he covers one half of the city for the construc-
tion/inspection division. The committee is favorable to this
,; change.
�
� To transfer Mr. Louis Del Signore, Senior Engineering Aide
� from "C" to "B" ,plan with a maximum of $75.00, effective
� July 1, 1961 as it is difficult to determine a definite straight
�f rate plan for him. The Committee recommends this transfer.
