for the construction of a Sewer in Prior Avenue from
� �'ield A,�venue to a point 236 feet north of Field Avenue,
Zametti and Sons, contractor, the specified date of
� completion is December 31, 1960, and
WHEREAS, the con�ractor l�as pro�ecuted the work diligently,
but due to de lay in s tarting the work pur sua nt to a re-
quest by the Department of Public Works, pending further
study of the dreinage requirennnts in conjun.ction with
the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and �acific Railroad
Company, it was not possible to complets the contract by
said date of completion, th�efore, be it

RESOLVED, tba.t the proper city officials be and they are
hereby authorized and di�ected to execute an Amendment
to said contract extending the time of completion to
APRIL 1, 1961, provided, however, that this Resolution
shal 1 have no f� c e or ef fe ct unle s s the Sure tie s on t he
Contractor t s Bond consent tYnret o in writing and file
such consent with ths City comptroller, and be it
FURTl� RESOLVED, that the City of St. Paul hereby waives
all claim fc� liquidated dama.ges arri. that no engineering .
ax�d inspe ction costs on this Pro3ect will be cha�ged by
the City on acc ount of s�zch extended period.
