� WHE AS, The Board of Education requests that certain public sewers now
� located within the building site for new Johnson High School be relocated, and�
t WHEREAS, The Department of Public Works should�at this time, enlarge the
�� existing 15-inch public sewer in Weide Street between Hawthorne Avenue and Hyacinth
Avenue and,' also, should,at this time, construct a storm water overflow sewer in
�� Walsh Street between Clear Avenue and Cottage Avenue, the above sewers being adja-
� cent to the school site, and
� WHEREAS, It is to the City's advantage to construct public sewers in advance
� of the start of construction of the new Johnson High School building, and '
� WHEREAS, The Board of Education has agreed to finance the construction costs
� of the 27-inch sewer to be relocated on an easement and the 8-inch sewer relocation .�
� in Clear �lvenue, all as set forth in C. F. 201923 and the resolution of the Board
, of Education meetings of April 4, 1961 and May 16, 1961 , and be it

# RESOLVED, That the plans and specifications for construction of the following
� improvements, viz.
� Sewer in Clear Avenue - Arcade� 217' west
� Sewer in Easement - Weide to Walsh
� � Sewer in Walsh Street - Clear to Cottage
�� Sewer in Weide Street' - .Hawthorne to Hyacinth

�; are hereby approved, and the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby directed to
'� perform the work at an estimated cost of $31 ,220.60 by City Forces, and that the
� Purchasing Agent proceed to secure the necessary materials, and be it

� FURTHER RESOLVED, That the cost of the above improvement, including engineer-
� ing and inspection expenses amounting to $3,122.06, or a total of $34,342.66 be
� f i nanced i n th e amourtl� of $25,039.00 f rom C i ty Loca l Improvement f und Code 31-E 1 ,
and $9,303.66 from the Board of Education funds.
