Hon. Council
City of Saint Paul
Dear Council Members:
Returned is the application of W. R. McAfee, 2003 James
Avenue, who desires a permit to build a 24 foot long fence
of various heights. This fence will be about 24 feet
north on Kenneth, starting with a piece six feet high by
eight feet long next to the rear of the house; then
one section five feet high by eight feet long; followed
by a third section four feet high by eight feet long.
Our inspector reports that the fence will be-of red cedar
slats and he can see no objections to the erection of
it. We, therefore, recommend that the Council authorize
the Building Department to issue this permit.
Yours. truly, 0

City Clerk of St. Paul,
386 City Hall,
St. Paul, Minn.,
Dear Sir:
Permit is requested to build a small 24 ft
long fence on my property in the City of St. Paul, as
fIllows:
J
Home address as above in a five room white
stucco bungalow.
Lot is 40 ft wide on James Ave with 4 ft. terrace.
Lot is 130 ft. long on Kenneth with 4 ft. wall of 60 ft.
In order to have some privacy in my back yard,
where I propose to build a small patio, I wish to build
a fence of red cedar slats about 24 ft north on Kenneth,
starting with a piece 6.ft: high by 8 ft. long next to
the back of'the house; then one 5 ft. hi. by 8 ft. long;.
followed by a third section of 4 ft. by 8 ft., to be
painted white to go with white stucco house.
Your prompt advice as to how to secure this pertmit
and the cost of same, will be appreciated.
Yours very t my
G
W. R. McAfee
