RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Water
Department, to spur track to be designated, St. Paul, Minnesota, 800 Lineal Feet of
24" Prestressed Concrete Pipe, Class 1509 with rubber and steel joint and all necess -
fittings and appurtenances, to LOCK JOINT PIPE COMPANY in accordance with City plan
l and specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #8380 of said Lock

Joint Pipe Company, for the contract price of $119064.00 (Board of Water Commissioners

reserving the right to increase the Materials of the Contract not to exceed testy
per cent), such bid being the lowest and said Lock Joint Pipe Company being a
