The property is described as : Al1 that part of the Southwest 4 of Block 27, Stinson, Brown ', and Ramsey's Addition lying south of James Avenue and west of Erie Street except the northerly quadrangular part thereof ineasuring 130 feet on the West line thereof and SO feet •on the east line thereof, subject to Randolph Avenue i widening. The zoning is heavy industry. -� ' As stated in the application, the proposed building and property wil.l be ; occupi�ed by the Northwestern Bell Telephone Company. This property is irreg- . ular. in shape having a frontage of 257.57 feet along Randolph Avenue, 81.41t� ' feet along Oneida Street and 65.68 feet along Erie Street resulting in an area of approxima.tely 18,264 square feet. It is proposed that the building ; will occupy approximately 72� of the site. _ I Mr. George Shepard, Streets and Highways Qo-ordi.nating Engineer, and the � Traffic Bureau reviewed the applicant's plans. Their recozr�endation is to ! approve the application with the stipulation that no driveways from said � property or building be permitted onto Randolph Avenue because of the traffic movements and sight distance factor along Randolph Avenue at this point. ' Field investigation discloses no objection to the proposed use as the sur- rounding are2� uses are industrial. i In consideration of the above factor� the Boaxd of Zoning recomends the � granting of this permit with the stipulation that no means of ingress and egress be permitted to Randolph Avenue.
