A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council
having heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered
the same; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and ldnd of im-
provement to be made by the said City ia to reconstruct the side�alk on the south side of
Wellealey Av�e. fro� Macaleater St. tireat to the alley abntting the property lmowu ae
333 ��leater St. Lot 1� Blk. 11� Macalester Villas� exQ�pt where good and sufficient
sidewalka no�r exiat
and the Council hereby orders said improvement to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans arid specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Counc�il for
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-
ceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith. �

The Co�issioner of �u.blic Works, having had under consideration the pre-
liminary order of the Council� known as Council F�le No. 203252
approved Ju1y 27th. 19 61 relative to reconstructing the sidewalk on
_the south side of Wellesley Ave. f rom Nlacalester St. west to the alley abutting the

_propert.y known as 333 Macalester St. Lot l, Blk 11, IKacalester Villas. �
, and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby reports:
1. The estimated cost thereof is $0.52 per sq. ft. for mono. conc. walk �." thick.
F�ctra work(excav. , fil1, conc. rem'd, root cutting, drive crossings�etc.)at extra cost.
2. A plan, profile or sketch of said improvement is hereto attached and made
a part hereof.
