The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of �nance
upon the above improvement, and having considered saic� report, hereby resolves: - �
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, a.nd the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends ia to reconatruet the
side�alk on the south side of Balfler St, from Dela,�are Av�e, to theeast approximately
116 ft. abutting the property lmc�n as 648 Delavaxe Ave., Lo� 12, DaWaon's Rearrangement
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $»52 ver sq: ft. .�or �" mono.eonc.sa'alk.

Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on thP 2�th day of
October,, 1961 , at the hour of 10 dclock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
Iiouse and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner�of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persona and in the manner provided by the Charter, atating the time and place of
hea,ring, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
