The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the sa,id improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature�of the improvement which the Council recommends is to grade and surPace
with b3tuminous material the al.].ey in Block 21, West Ead Additioa f`rc� ElWay 8treet to
Montreal Avenue �

with no alternatives, and that the eatimated cost thereof is $ 3�271.96
Resolved Further, That a public heaxing be had on said improvement on the 17th day of
October, 1961 , at the hour of 10 dclock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
� sa.id meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, atating the time and place of
hea,ring, the nature of the improvement and the total coat thereof as estimated.
