WHEREAS, The City of Saint Paul cannot provide sanitary sewer
service to the residents of Saint Paul on Fernwood Avenue between
Larpenteur Avenue and 300 feet south of Larpenteur Avenue without
constructing a sanitary sewage lift station, and
WHEREAS, The Village of Roseville has a lift station located
at Fernwood Avenue and approximately 200 feet north of Larpenteur
i Avenue, and
WHEREAS, Said Village of Roseville lift station could be used
as an outlet for a sanitary sewer built in Fernwood Avenue to serve
the residents of Saint Paul, be it
RESOLVED, That the City Council of Saint Paul hereby authorizes
the Commissioner of Public Works to request permission from the
Village of Roseville to connect said sanitary sewer to be built in
Fernwood Avenue to the sewer system of the Village of Roseville.
