A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council
having heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered
the same; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is to reconstruct the sidewalk on both sides of
South Prior Ave. from Princeton Ave. to Fairmount Ave... except where good and
sufficient sidewalks now exist council F9e No. 201609 —

A public hearing having been had
upon the above improvement upon

and the Council hereby orders said improvement to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed;
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council°,°.for
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-
ceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.

St.Paul City Council
The Board of Trustees of Park Baptist Church is in receipt of a letter
from the Commissioner of Finance stating that preliminary plans are
being made to reconstruct sidewalks on South Prior Avenue between
Princeton Avenue and Fairmount Avenue. The letter also gives notification
of a public hearing scheduled for April 18,1961. This Board urges the
City Council members to approve this item of business.
The Park Baptist Church owns a house on the corner of Prior Avenue and
Fairmount Avenue and its members are aware of the very poor condition of
the present sidewalks in this area. The approval of this order which is
listed as number 199707 will be greatly appreciated by the governing
bodies of Park Baptist Church.
