A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council
having heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered
the same; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is to construct a public sewer in Magnolia Avenue from
Barclay.Street to 430 feet east of Barclay Street, in Barclay Street from Magnolia
Avenue to Rose Avenue, and in Rose Avenue from Barclay Street to 375 feet east of
Barclay Street, all of which is to be known as the BARCLAY -ROSE SEWER SYSTEM
and the Council hereby orders said improvement to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authori2
ceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.

The commissioner of Public Works, having had under consideration the
preliminary order of the Council, known as Council File No. 199898 ,
approved December 2nd 19 60 , relative to constructing
the Barclay -Rose Sewer System
and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby
reports:
1. The estimated cost thereof is $ 35,554.31 (See Lettev Attached)
2. A plan, profile or sketch of said improvement is hereto attached and
made a part hereof.
3. Initiated by the Commissioner of Public Works
