RESOLVED, that the City Council concurs in the
resolution of the Board of Water Commissioners adopted
March 29, 1961, to extend the services of the Soil
Exploration Company beyond the original contract in
evaluating the work of the Prepakt Concrete Company in
soil stabilization beneath the Dale Street reservoir, so
as to complete the proper analysis of the soil,-the cost
of such additional services not to exceed $2000; °? be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Corporation Counsel
be directed to prepare an amendment to the contract

providing for such additional services, at a cost not to
exceed $2000, and the proper City officers hereby are 1
authorized to execute same.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICE CONTRACT WITH SOIL EXPLORA-
TION COMPANY TO EVALUATE THE STABILIZATION WORK
BEING PERFORMED ON DALE STREET RESERVOIR, SAID
CONTRACT HAVING A MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF $2500.00.
THIS WAS APPROVED BY THE COUNCIL, C.F. #199289.
IT HAS SINCE BEEN DETERMINED THAT THE $2500.00
AS APPROVED IS NOT ADEQUATE TO COMPLETE SUCH
INVESTIGATION AND IT IS ESTIMATED THAT AN ADDITION-
AL MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF $2,000.00 MAY BE NEEDED. THE
BOARD OF WATER COMMISSIONERS ON MARCH 29, 19610
APPROVED THE ENCLOSED RESOLUTION.
WILL YOU PLEASE PREPARE A RESOLUTION FOR COUNCIL
APPROVAL TO ALLOW FOR SUCH AN EXTENSION TO THE
