WHEREAS, examinations are to be given for the positions.
of "Sanitarian Aidell and 11Sanitarian ", and
WHEREAS, it is' highly unlikely that sufficient lists can be
established from among residents of the City of St. .Paul, and
WHEREAS, it is highly desirable that competition be extended
to 1961, graduates of the University of Minnesota and. other local colleges,
even though they are not residents of the City of St. Paul: therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the residence requirements for admission
to examinations as provided in Section 10 D of the Civil Service Rules are
hereby waived for the first examination for "Sanitarian Aide" and for the
