RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul
hereby grants to The Short Hill Recreation Assn., a non-
profit corporation organized under Minnesota Statutes
Annotated, Chapter 317, a temporary permit to construct,
operate and maintain recreational facilities and playground
on the tracts of land bounded by Marshall Avenue, Cathedral
Place, Iglehart Avenue, and West Sixth Street in the City
of Saint Paul; be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the said corporation be authorized
toa)mmence clearing of said land which will be advantageous to
later City uses of said property, as soon as said corporation
has filed with the Corporation Counsel of the City of Saint Paul
a comprehensive public liability insurance policy in the following
amounts: $250,000 per person, $500,000 per accident and $50,000
$roperty damage, together with an indemnity bond in the amount of
2,000, the insurance policy and bond to be in a form approved by
the Corporation Counsel; be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Corporation Counsel be directed
to prepare a Permit Ordinance which will supersede the terms
and provisions of this resolution, if and when passed by this
Council, the permit provided for by this resolution to be
revocable at the will of the Council; and be it
FINALLY RESOLVED, that if a permit iDrdinanceais,:subs.equently
passed, the insurance policy and bond may be incorporated into
such ordinance so as to afford the City the necessary liability
protection.
