RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing for the Department of Public
Works, Bureau of Construction and Repairs, Various Locations, St. Paul, Minnesota,
approximately 400 Cubic Yards, More or less according to requirements, Ready Mixed
Concrete for period of time from May 1, 1961 to March 31, 1962, to GUULU MED
CONCRETE COMPANY in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached
and the Formal Bid #8296 of said Guaranteed Concrete Company at a cost of

approximately $6,400.00 (at unit prices bid), such bid being one of identical bids
and said Guaranteed Concrete Company being a reasonable and "reliable bidder and the
Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract
therefor and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract
on behalf of the City of Saint Paul
