RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint
Paul, in behalf of said City, enters upon its Official
Records cognizance thereof and commendation to
Clifford M. Nystrom, upon his extensive, meritorious
and efficient career in said City's Department of Finance
which had its inception December 1, 1913, and continued
uninterruptedly thereafter until its culmination upon
his voluntary retirement June 30, 1961, when he occupied

the important post of Chief Cashier of said Department;
that his high moral caliber and extraordinary aptitude in
fiscal affairs characterized '.his consistently praiseworthy
performance of his work in the service of said City; and
that in recognition of his excellence of-service and extremely
high fidelity therein this Council hereby confers upon him, '
