WHEREAS, Leonard Renfro, employee of the Department of
Public Safety, was injured in a third party accident on June
23, 1960, when the squad car in which he wtIs riding was struck
by Charles K. Howard, and the City expended, on behalf of its
employee, medical expense in the amount of $20.00 and paid the
employee's salary while he was disabled on account 'of said injury,
in the amount of , $87.26; and
WHEREAS, St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company
has issued its draft in the full amount of the City's expense
for medical and salary, in the sum of $107.26, on behalf of
its insured, Charles K. Howard, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That theproper City officers are hereby
authorized to accept, in full, final and complete settlement
and satisfaction of the City's subrogation claim for medical
and salary expense incurred on behalf of said employee Leonard
Renfro, the sum of $107.26 profferred by St. Paul Fire and Marine
Insurance Company for- its insured Howard Motor Co. on account of
said accident of June 23, 1960; be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That said settlement of $107.26 be
credited as follows: To Fund 31 G1 A, Workmen's Compensation,
the sum of $20.00; to Fund 7 -C -1, salary, $87.26.
