and
WHEREAS, it appears that the bast known record owner
of the property is Oscar Robins, 489 St. Peter Street, Saint Paul 2,
Minnesota; therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Saint Paul
hold a. public hearing in the Council Chamber at 10 o'clock a. m.
on the 20th day of December, 1961, to,consider any complaints about
the expense incurred by the City of Saint Paul and to confirm the
amount thereof; be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Architect notify by mail
the record owner of the property in question at the last known address..

Dear Council Members:
A statement of expense has been filed with the City Clerk on
this date for the purpose of creating a lien on the property
known as 116 -122 Iglehart Avenue, described as Lot 20, Block
3, Irvine "s Addition to Saint Paul'. This property is owned
by Oscar Robins, 489 St. Peter Street, Saint Paul 2, Minnesota.
In this matter, the following resolutions were adopted by the
City Council:
C.F. 199300,adopted by the CouncillOctober 14, 1960 (published
October 22, 1960, set a public hearing at 10 A.M. November 8,
1960. '
C.F'. 199713, adopted by the Council November 17, 1960 (publish-
ed November.l9, 1960,) ordered the,wrecking by and at the sepa-
rate cost and expense of the owner, occupant, or other person
in control thereof.
C.F. 20025.2, adopted by the Council December 30, 1960 (publish-
ed January 7, 1961), directed the Commissioner of Parks And
Recreation And Public Buildings to'enter the premises and wreck
and remove the two story frame eight -unit apartment building
thereon, and do any and all things therein necessary for the
protection of life, limb, and adjoining property.
C.F. 203398, adopted by the Council August 8, 1961 (published
August 12,'1961), approved the award of the contract for wreck-
ing to All State Improvement Co. for the sum of $1,440.00 in
accordance with specifications and Iinformal bid No. 2921.
C.F. 204566, ado tad by the Council October 31, 1961 (published
November 4, 1968, provided that the wrecking expense of $1;440.00
and expense of the Department of Parks And Recreation And Public
Buildings in connection with the condemnation in the amount of
$80.91, making a total of $1,520.91', be paid out of Wrecking Con-
demned Buildings Account of General'Fund, 31 G 22, and, -in the
event said sum proves collectible from the owner, same is to be
credited to 31 G 22. 1

The building has now been satisfactorily wrecked and a regis-
tered bill mailed to the owner.
We are requesting that you hold a public hearing with ten days'
notice to consider any complaints about the expenses incurred
and to confirm the amount. The Council resolution confirming the
expense should end with a directive'to the City Clerk to file a
Itatement of expense for the purpose of securing a lien,on the
property.
