RESOLVED, that Trinity Lutheran Church be
permitted to install and operate a 36 -car private off-
street parking lot on property on the north side of
Fuller Avenue between Farrington and Galtier Streets,
more particularly described as Block 3, Western Area
Addition, in accordance with plans approved November 2,
19619. subject to compliance with the provisions of all
ordinances governing the operation of parking lots, and to the
condition that the sidewalk abutting said premises be kept
clean and free of ice and snow.at all times.

-Dear Madam:
This is in the matter of the application of the Trinity Lutheran Church for
a 36 car private off-street parking lot on property located on the north
side of Fuller Avenue between Farrington and Galtier Street and is described
as Block 3, Western Area Addition. `
This property was recently cleared by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority
and sold to -the applicant to be developed for church purposes. The applicant
proposes to develop a portion of the site which includes all of the street
frontage on the north side of Fuller Avenue between Farrington and Galtier
Streets with an off - street•parking lot. The parking lot will utilize approxi-
mately 120 feet of the frontage and extend to the depth of this property result-
ing in an area of approximately 14,280 square feet. Directly west and adjoining
is the church building now under construction; north and across a public alley
are residences fronting on Aurora Avenue; east and adjoining is vacant land
owned by the applicant; south and across Fuller Avenue are apartment buildings
now under construction.
Field investigation discloses no basic objection to the proposed parking lot.
The Traffic Engineer has approved the plans which meet the standards for
this•type of facility. The proposed facility will have two drive -ways off
Fuller Avenue with no access to the public alley adjoining on'the north.
In consideration of the above factors, the Board of Zoning recommends the
granting of the permit for a 36 car private off- street parking lot on the
above described property in accordance with plans approved November 2, 1961.
