NO. 201984 , The Camnissioner of Libraries, auditorium, Museums and Stadia has reported in accordance with Section 531of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from April 2, 1961 through April 29, 1961 which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Department of Libraries, auditorium, Museums and Stadia, Bureau of auditorium, for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: Operate ventilating system, PBX Switchboard and supervise during various activities held in the building including concerts; road shows, opera, Women's Institute, conventions and other events held in the building. and wERW, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: No other trained help available to work during above attractions held in the building,ithis time includes Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the proper City Officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council's Salary Ordinance No. 6446.
