WHEREAS, Public Works is preparing to award the contract for the third phase of the St Peter/Rondo Storm Tunnel project
and
WHEREAS, this type of work needs [o occur during the winter months because the tunnel needs to stay dry during cons[ruction;
and
WHEREAS, this wock was originally adopted by City Council Resolufion 07-ll91,1aiown as SU-6601683; and
WHEREAS, [he bids came in higher than budgeted and will require additional funding; and
WHEREAS, with the second phase of the project nearin$ completion, there are surplus funds available to be Vansferred to the
third phase of the St Peter/Rondo Storm Tunnel project in the amount of $1,000,000; so
TIIEREFORE BE TT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon cecommendafion of the Mayor and advice of
the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $1,000,000 is available foc appropriation in the 2008 Capital
Improvement Budget, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby fiuther amended in the Improvement
Budgets, in the following particulars:
