08-1328Council F�le # � - j3� Green Sheet # 3061276 RESOLUTlON � 41I�T�PAUL, MWNESOTA Presented by 1 WHEREAS, the City Council, on April 4, 2007 by Resolution Number CF09-309 and on May 7, 2008 by 2 Resolution Number CF08-459, authorized the D'uector of Public Works to apply to the Transit for Livable 3 Communities for grants under the Non-Motorized Transportation Pilot Program; and 4 5 6 WHEREA5, the City of Saint Paul was awazded grants for the following projects: 7 8 1. Marshall Avenue-Mississippi River Boulevard to Crepn Avenue Bike Lanes in the amount of $626,300, 9 which includes assessment financing. 10 2. Como Avenue - W City Limits to Raymond Avenue Bike Lanes in the amount of $418,800; and 11 12 13 WHEREAS, as part of the Mazshall project, Public Works is proposing to install sidewalk on the north side of 14 Marshall from Otis to Cretin, which will be 100% assessed to abutting property owner; and 15 16 WHETtEAS, Public Works desires to establish a spending and financing plan for said Transit for Livable 17 Communities grants; so 18 19 20 NOW TFIEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the 21 Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $1,045,100 is available for 22 appropriafion in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby 23 further amended in the Improvement Budgets, in the following particulazs: 24 25 26 z7 as 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 39 40 41 42 43 44 45 46 47 48 49 50 51 52 53 54 55 56 57 58 59 60 61 62 63 64 65 66 67 68 69 70 �� 72 73 74 75 76 77 78 NT'P Bicycle Prog.
