WHEREWHEREAS the City f Saint Paul Boa Arcade Street to 195 feet west o f

passed a resolution at their meeting of April a�; °''�.ol� -re
questing that certain public sewers be constructed in the
vicinity of the Johnson High School site;
RESOUP, that permission and authority are hereby
granted to the - Board of Education to construct a public sewer
in,Clear Avenue from Arcade Street to 195 feet west of Arcade
Street, to serve the following described property located
north of and adjacent to Clear Avenue:
Lots 7 and 8, A. Evanson Addition
(797 and 801 East Clear Avenue)
RESOLVED, further that permission and authority
are also hereby granted to said Board of Education to con-
struct a public sewer from the intersection of Walsh Street
and Ivy Street to the intersection of Weide Street with the
alley north of Hyacinth Avenue to serve the following de-
scribed property being generally the Johnson High School tract:
Unplatted tract of land within the
following: Lots 7 through 16,
A. Evanson Addition, except E. 6
feet; Lot 4 and all of Lots 5 through
9. Block 1, Lots 1 through 10, Block
2, Lots 1 through 9, Block 3, Oakville
Park, Lots 15 through 28, Block 3 and
all of Block 4, Lanes Phalen Place,
and in said King's Arcade Park, except
E. 13 feet; Lot 26 and all of Lots 18
through 25, Block 3.
RESOLVED, further that before any sewer construction -
takes place in the aforesaid Johnson High School tract,the
Board of Education shall grant an easement to the City of
Saint Paul in the manner and description as follows:

A permanent easement 20 feet in'width
for the purpose of constructing and
maintaining public sewer, on, under,
across and through a strip of land 20
feet in width, the centerline of said
easement being the line connecting the
intersection of the centerline of Walsh
Street, as platted north of Ivy Street,
and the centerline of Ivy Street with a
point that is the centerline of Weide
Street and the intbr-section of the
centerline of the alley platted parallel
to and north of Hyacinth Avenue.
RESOLVED, further that the Department of Public
Works shall prepare the plans and specifications and furnish
the engineering and inspection to construct the aforesaid
two public sewers, which work shall be done entirely at the
expense of said Board of Education;
RESOLVED, further that upon completion of the
plans and specifications, the City Purchasing Agent shall
thereafter advertise for bids for said sewer construction
work, in accordance with the Charter and Ordinance provisions
pertaining thereto;
RESOLVED, further that the plans and specifications
shall call for a completion date for construction of said
two public sewers of October 1, 1961.
RESOLVED, further that the Department of Public
Works shall, at the appropriate time, issue permits for
said sewer construction work.
