WHEREAS, Mr. Alfred F. Clifford, 1883 White Bear Avenue,�'ka'Cz:.uod,
has made application to the City of St. Paul to connect this property
more specifically described as being the N. 1/2 of Lot 5, Block 1,
Garden Acres, Village of Maplewood, to the City of St. Paul public
sewer in White Bear Avenue, and
WHEREAS, The existing City of St. Paul ordinances prohibit pro-
perties outside the City Limits of St. Paul to connect their sewer to
the City of St. Paul sewer system, except as modified by ordinance,
and
WHEREAS, The City Corporation Counsel is now preparing said
required ordinance to permit the property at 1883 White Bear Avenue
to connect to the City sewer in White Bear Avenue
WHEREAS, This resident of Maplewood is confronted with the
health hazard of a home sewage disposal system that is not presently
functioning nor could be made to function, except at great cost to the
resident, be it
RESOLVED, That the Commissioner of Public Works be hereby
instructed ±to issue a permit for the connection of said property in '
Maplewood to the sewer system of St. Paul, informal approval of said
connection being given in anticipation of said ordinance.
