~ RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee therefor
and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Department of Public Works,
Bureau of Municipal Equipment, 891 North Dale- Street, St, Paul, Minnesota, Four C -800 Truck
Chassis, 25,000# G.V.W. with full -tilt cab (vendor to transfer Leach Compactor bodies now

mounted on Int•1' chassis to new chassis) , for use of Bureau of Sanitation, to RON SAWN
FORD in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid
#8329 of said Ron Saxon Ford, for the price of $23,754.16, less allowance of $1600.00 for
four 1953 International Chassis Model R -192 with cab, making net amount of contract
$22,154.16, such bid being the lowest and said Ron Saxon Ford being a reasonable and

reliable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the
proper form of contract therefor and the proper City.officials are hereby authorized to
execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul. --
