Peterson J""�tZ'/� -- Aril 25 1961 COMMISSIONS DATE AREAS, the Commissioner of Public Safety has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from April 1, 1961 to April 30, 1961, Mich rendered necessary the employment of certain employees in the Department of Public Safety for more than eight hours per day, or forty hours per week, in doing the following work= Ambulance Surgeon on duty in the Bureau of Police, clerical work in the Bureau of Police, clerical work in the Bureau of General Administration (Office) and maintenance work in the Bureau of Building Maintenance and WHEREAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: Replacing regular Ambulance Surgeon on leave, lack of personnel to type reports and keep current records up to date, and rebuilding cooling tower in the Public Health Building. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVEDt That the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council's Salary Ordinance No. 6446.
