QQUNCIL RESOLUTION — GENERAL FORM

WHEREAS, George Roan, employe of the Department of
Public Safety, Bureau of Fire Protection, was injured in line
of duty on November 24, 1953 and November 14, 19549 which
injuries appear to have necessitated an operation and subsequent
time loss; and-said employee was off duty from January 16, 1955
to May 2, 1955 following said operation; and
WHEREAS, said employee was charged with sick leave for
the period of his absence from duty in 1955, and based on medical
reports and reports of injuries on duty it is the recommendation
of the office of the Corporation Counsel that 70 days of such
sick leave should be credited as "JD" under the provisions of
the City Charter, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that sick leave in the amount of 70 days be
credited to said employee George Roan and that for the period of
his absence from duty January 16, 1955 to May 2, 1955, 70 days
of 11JD" leave be charged as the employee should have been classed
as "injured on duty" during such time.
