Holland— Whereas, In the matter of the group insurance program now established for CITY OF $T. .Saint Paul City employees group in- sured under policies with The Minne- -� OFFICE OF THE s°ta Mutual IAfe Insurance Company, insurer ollc No 365379 -G in effect IL R p Y UTIONprior to March 1, 1961 dividends have accrued in substantial amounts by reason of favorable mortality exper- ience during the past several years, and additional insurance coverage has been afforded to such employees from and by the application of such accrued dividends; and Council, by motion ,�SL,�r1?tG i ed that NO 2017 3 7 WHEREAS, in the matter of the group insurance program now established for Saint Paul City employees group insured under policies with The Minnesota Mutual Life Insurance Company, insurer, policy No. 365379 -G, in 'effect prior to March 1, 1961, dividends have accrued in substantial amounts by reason of, favorable mortality experience during the past several years, and additional insurance coverage has been afforded to such employees from and by the application of such accrued dividends; WHEREAS, the Council, by motion adopted April 18, 1961, determined that such accrued dividends for the policy year March 1, 19600 through February 28, 1961, would be paid to those persons covered under the employees group who were premium- paying insured on February 28, 1961 and on March 1, 1961 and who had been continuously insured for six months prior to March 1, 1961; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, effective March 1, 19619that 25 per cent of such accrued dividends, or an amount of approximately $10,900.00, be returned to those employees described in the preceding paragraph, such distribution to be made by The Minnesota Mutual Life Insurance Company as soon as conveniently possible; and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be-and iche is hereby directed to prepare a certified copy of this Resolution and deliver the same to The Minnesota Mutual Life Insurance Company without unnecessary delay.
