WHEREAS., the City of Saint Paul has acquired from the
State of Minnesota the site of the Old State Capitol, more particularly
described as Block 6, Bazil and Guerin's.Addition to the City of Saint
Paul, accondi.ng to the plat on file of record in the office of the
Register of Deeds in and for Ramsey Country, Minnesota, for the purpose
of construction of a Civic Arts Center thereon; and
WHEREAS, there haw arisen certain claims on the part of
the heirs of the original,donors of said property, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Department of Libraries, -Audi.torium,
Museums and Stadia is hereby authorized to register the title to said
property and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to sign an
application to register same; be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Corporation Counsel is hereby
directed to proceed with said.
