Whereas, Council File No. 197079,
approved May 11, 1960, authorizing the
making of Surveys; preparation of
plans, and all preliminary engineering
in connection with the Riverview
Flood Control Project, at an estimated
cost not to exceed $10,000.00, and the
method of financing thereof, and
Whereas, It has been found necessary,

WHEREAS, Council File No. 197079, approved May 11, 1960,
authorized the making of Surveys; preparation of plans,
and all preliminary engineering in connection with the
Riverview Flood Control Project, at an estimated cost
not to exceed $ 10,000.00, and the method of financing
thereof., and
WHEREAS, it has been found necessary, in addition to said
preliminary engineering, to secure appraisal services,
and bear the preliminary costs of property and easement
acquisitions, and

WHEREAS, these additional costs will necessitate an in-
crease in the estimated amount of $ 10,000.00, originally
authorized, to an estimated amount of $ 30,000.00, to be
financed as hereinafter resolved, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that Council File Number 197079 0 be and the same is
hereby amended to read: "...that the Commissioner of Public
j Works be and he is he re by authorized arii directed to perform
such preliminary work, secure appraisal services, and incur
preliminary costs of acquisition of properties for the
Riverview Flood Control Project, at an estimated cost of
30,000.00 ", and as to financing, "....to be financed from
the Permanent Improvement Revolving-Fund 3001, Comptroller's
Contract L -6215, which fund is to be reimbursed from the -
i Flood Control Project Fund No. 1066:

preliminary costs of acquisition of properties for the
Riverview Flood Control Project, at an estimated cost of
$ 30,000,.00% and as to financing, "..,..to be financed from
