WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and Vublic-1
Buildings has recommended the leasing of the privilege of the sale of
I
balloons and operating electrically driven children's automobiles, tractors
and trains at the Como Park picnic grounds to Frank J. Gruber,
3300 N. Victoria St., the said Frank J. Gruber to pay for said privilege
for the park season of 1961 the sum of $750. 00, payable $250. 00 on May 31,
1961; $250..00 on July 7, 1961, and $250. 00 on August 26, 1961, and to
provide a public liability insurance policy covering injury to persons,
which policy shall be approved by the Corporation Counsel and deposited
with the City Comptroller; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council concurs in the recommendation of the
Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings, and the
Corporation Counsel is hereby authorized and directed to draw the proper
lease therefor, and the proper City officers are .authorized to execute the
same on behalf of the City.
