Pursuant to the 2008 City budget, the proper City officials are hereby authorized to remit payment for the Women's
Fire Service Expo expenses not to exceed $2,500.00. The pub�ic purpose of this event is to recruit women for
the upcoming firefighter exam and to expose and encourage persons for which firefighting is a non-traditional
career choice. This will pay for all costs which include training materials, lunch, and supplies incurred by the Saint
Paul Fire Department. The Women's Fire Service Expo is on October 25, 2008 at the Saint Paul Fire Department
Training Facilities.
