WE MAS, it -vas necessary and desirable, in order to provide sufficient electric
service at 85 Vadnais Blvd., Vadnais Heights, to extend the existing service, and
WHEREAS, an agreement for extension of the aforesaid electric service at 85 Vadnais
Blvd, Vadnais Heights has been reached between the Water Department and Northern States
Power Company, whereby the dater Department would be required to pay $2600.00, and
WHEREAS it is represented to the Cogncil of the City of Saint Paul by the Purchasing
Agent that it is impractical to call for competitive bids with reference to the
extension of these electrical services, now therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the proper City officers and the proper officers of the Water
Department, on thelCity•s behalf, are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement
with Northern States Power Company for the extension of lines to make three -phase
electric service available at 85 Vadnais Blvd., Vadnais Heights, without cal��ng
for competitive bids with respect thereto, such agreement to be in accordance with
Northern States PoWgq Company's Estimate #45909.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the authorization and direction herein contained shall be
subject to the approval of the Mayor and Comptroller as indicated by their signatures
affixed to this resolution.
