PAUL OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK COUNCIL RES_0LUT1ON- GENERAL FORM COUNCIL FILE NO• WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Utilities has reported, in accordance with Section 51 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from March lst to March 15th 1961, which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Water Department for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: (1� Repairing equipment at Filtration Plant and Pumping Stations. (2 Working extra shifts, various stations. (3 Repairing water mains and hydrants. (4� Driving country crew to and from work. AND WHEREAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: 1 Necessary to do work during low c *nsumption hours. 2 Illness of employees on regular shifts: 3 In order to put water mains in service as soon as possible 4 On account of scattered work locations.
